Thoughts on Evil III
My heart was pounding a heavy rhythm. "She got all perfect scores? Except for one subject!" The children were murmuring. Older students were so shocked by Eunju's grade they gathered on the way home to calculate her average. I couldn't believe it. She was smart but all perfect scores save one! A strange discomfort made me anxious and uneasiness washed over me. The rivalry with Eunju had already been resolved, and we were simply coexisting without issue. Yet, the girl's tr

Thoughts on Evil II
Several boils grew on the back of Eunju's head. Kids made fun of those as saying that those were lousy. I was also one who was saying openly. There was no kid who played with Eunju. Her down-fall was attributed to me by half, and the other half was done by herself. When kids hooked their pinkies with each other, saying 'Mal Pureo' meaning 'Unsay the words or Untie the bond', it meant the pledge that they wouldn't talk to each other anymore. Thoughts on Evil I (악에 대한 고찰 I) - Korean

Thoughts on Evil I
There were quite many children in my village where I spent my childhood, though it was a deep inside of the countryside, hinted by the then government's birth control policy due to the exponential increase of the population then. There had always been the noisy bustling mixed with children's giggling, chattering and sometimes screaming at the square site called 'Saeng-ggeol' which I probably guess as an accentuated pronunciation of 'Saem-Gol' meaning a valley with a spring in
